Gayaza old Girls Association (GOGA) was established many years back around 1983 It was Mrs. Joyce Adri Natabi Kaddu who called upon the old girls to come together and form the Alumni Association. She was the first GOGA PRESIDENT CHAIR PERSON.

It was a voluntary non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making organization formally registered in Uganda.

The Motto of the Association is Never Give Up.

GOGA MISSION:
To mobilise and support the Gayaza Old Girls while giving back to the school.
GOGA VISION
To create a strong connected collaborative GOGA Community.
Gayaza Old Girls Association was established many years back with the objective of bringing together alumnae of Gayaza High School, keep them informed about the affairs at the school and promote their participation in various activities that develop the school. The Association is a pressure group to safe guard the interests and standards of the school. GOGA generates resources that will contribute to the development and improvement of the school facilities and the advancement of the girl child.

Objectives

The objectives for which the Association was established are: a.To provide a forum that brings together the old girls of Gayaza High School and Gayaza Junior School. Herein after referred to as “the school”. b. To keep the old girls informed about the affairs of the school. c. To create a link between the students at school and the members of the Association and promote the participation of the old girls in the various activities and development projects of the school. d. To generate resources that will contribute to the development and improvement of the school facilities and the advancement of the girl child. e. To act as a pressure group, to safe guard the interests and standards of the school. f. To do all other things that are incidental and conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.
GOGA has the following chapters;
  1. GOGA UK
  2.  GOGA Gayaza Junior School –GOGA GAJUSH CHAPTER, Uganda.
  3.  GOGA Makerere University, Uganda.
  4.  GOGANA – North America and Canada.

GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER

GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER was established in 2019 It was after the realization that many students who passed through Gayaza Junior School but did not join Gayaza High School were not convinced that they belonged to GOGA. Dr. Florence Kasirye and Mrs. Rebecca Ssabaganzi the two GOGA Presidents who went through both GAYAZA JUNIOR SCHOOL together with Mrs. Nyanzi Lillian Gwokyalya agreed to launch the GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER to mobilise Gayaza old girls who passed through Gayaza Junior School, primary school. 20th July, 2019 on Gayaza Day, GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER was launched on a grand occasion on which Omubejja Nalinnya Dorothy Nasolo was the guest of honour. Omubejje Dorothy Nassolo is also an old girl of Gayaza Junior School.

What is GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER?

It is an alumnae organization of Gayaza old girls who passed through Gayaza Junior School, for at least one year. How do I enroll as a member of GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER? You enroll by paying membership fee. It is a one-time payment that pleasantly enlists you in the Data Base of Gayaza Old Girls. You can be a member by association i.e. SEGOGA (A male associate), NAGOGA ( A female associate) and GOGALET (children to a GOGA).

Membership has 3 categories;

  1. Platinum membership card can pay 200,000/=
  2. Golden membership card pay Silver membership card 50,000/= only. Now you are a
  3. member. Every year you will pay an annual subscription
  4. fee of 120,000/=

Why should I join GOGA GAJUSCH?

    1. To give back to the school that taught, mentored, and brought you up to be the lady you have become.
    2. You will always remain in touch with your school. You will be invited on different occasions and programs that take place in GAJUSCH every year.
    3. You will participate in different projects of the school.
    4. Thirdly you will be part of the great forum of GAYAZA OLD GIRLS who can be links, connections, and market.
    5. You will have access to information and knowledge through webinars and seminars organized by GOGA GAJUSCH CHAPTER.
    6. In old age, there will be an organization that will recognize and love you.
