Gayaza Junior School is a government aided and the oldest Anglican Church founded Girls’ Boarding Primary School in Uganda. Gayaza Junior School is located along Gayaza road 14 km East of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. In 1905, this school was established and opened as Gayaza Junior School under the Church Missionary Society with four girls. Originally, the school was for daughters of chiefs and the highly placed people in the society as clan leaders and clergymen, Gayaza Junior School has evolved through sustaining values from the great historical past fused with complementary changes of a 21st century school. Academic excellence and social excellence are traditions in the School.
